twiist is cleared for individuals ages six and above who live with type 1 diabetes. It's designed for at-home use and requires a prescription.1

How accurate is twiist in detecting insulin delivery issues?

Does twiist work with continuous glucose monitors (CGMs)?

Yes, twiist AID System is designed to work with compatible integrated continuous glucose monitors (iCGMs). The system uses CGM readings to automatically adjust insulin delivery.1

How do I get started with twiist?

Once twiist has launched, please speak to your provider about the twiist AID System and ensure it's right for you. From there, your doctor will send your twiist Starter Kit prescription to your local pharmacy. Once you receive your Starter Kit and register, a twiist Trainer will reach out to schedule a training session for you.

What kind of support is available for individuals using twiist?

Sequel offers access to diabetes educators, customer care, and 24/7 product support. This personalized guidance and support is available anytime, anywhere throughout your entire twiist journey.

Where can I get twiist supplies?

twiist supplies will be available at local retail pharmacies, ensuring easy access to the items you need to manage your diabetes all in one place.

Can twiist adjust to different types of food?

Different foods can impact glucose levels differently. Some raise glucose quickly, while others do so more slowly. With twiist, you pick the emoji that matches what you’re eating. twiist will adjust your insulin delivery to closely match how your body absorbs different types of food,1

Is it possible to update food entries after a meal?

Yes, with twiist you can update entries before, during, or even after a meal. The system will adjust your insulin dosage accordingly, which is especially helpful if you eat more or less than expected.1

How can you wear the twiist pump?

It can be secured to a belt or clothing using the provided pump clip. We are working on adhesive patches that will allow it to be worn on the body, or it can be discreetly placed in a clothing pocket like a traditional tubed insulin pump.1

When and where will the twiist AID System be available?

We’re excited to share that Sequel is preparing for a U.S. launch early next year! We plan to provide the twiist AID System conveniently and affordably through local retail pharmacies, making it easier for people with type 1 diabetes to get everything they need to manage their diabetes in one place.
