Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

This Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy (“CHD Privacy Policy”) supplements the twiist (“twiist,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) Privacy Policy and is effective as of June 30, 2024. Our Privacy Policy describes the “personal information” that we collect about you. This additional policy, which is required by the Washington “My Health My Data” Act (“MHMD”) and the Nevada “Consumer Health Data Privacy” Law (“CHDP”), describes the “consumer health data” that we collect from Nevada and Washington consumers. To the extent that this CHD Privacy Policy and our Privacy Policy differ, this CHD Privacy Policy governs with respect to Nevada and Washington consumers’ consumer health data.

1. Categories of Consumer Health Data Collected
Depending on which services you interact with and the choices you make on our Website, we may collect the following consumer health data:

  • Individual health conditions, treatment, diseases, or diagnosis;
  • Medical interventions;
  • Use or purchase of prescribed medication;
  • Bodily functions, vital signs, symptoms, or measurements of other categories described in this section;
  • Diagnoses or diagnostic testing, treatment, or medication.


2. Purpose of Collection of Consumer Health Data
We collect consumer health data for the purpose of providing the products and services you request from us, processing transactions your request through our Website, securing or troubleshooting services, and communicating with you.

3. Categories of Sources From Which We Collect Consumer Health Data
We may collect consumer health data directly from you, from your interactions with our Website, applications, products, or services, or from third parties.

4. How Consumer Health Data Is Shared
We do not sell consumer health data to others. We only share consumer health data as directed by you for the purpose of providing the products and services you request from us, or as explained below. As described in our Privacy Policy, we may share personal information (including consumer health data) in connection with business transfers (for example, as part of a merger) or for the protection of us or others (although we do not share consumer health data for reasons related to credit risk). We also employ other companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf, such as processing transactions you request through our Website, sending postal mail, email, and text messages, analyzing data, and providing customer service.

5. With Whom Consumer Health Data Is Shared
Consumer health data that we collect may be shared with service providers, including our affiliates, who will have access to consumer health data needed to perform their functions, but they may not use it for other purposes.

6. How to Exercise Your Consumer Rights
You have certain consumer rights under MHMD, such as the right to access or delete consumer health data. If you wish to exercise any of your consumer rights, please contactprivacy@sequelmedtech.com. If your request to exercise a right under MHMD is denied, you may appeal that decision by contacting our privacy team at privacy@sequelmedtech.com. If your appeal is unsuccessful, you can raise a concern or file a complaint with the Washington State Attorney General at www.atg.wa.gov/file-complaint. There is no specific appeal available to Nevada consumers.

7. Updates to this Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy 
We reserve the right to amend this CHD Privacy Policy from time to time, in our sole discretion, by updating this CHD Privacy Policy, so we strongly encourage consumers to review this CHD Privacy Policy regularly. If we decide to amend this CHD Privacy Policy, the revised version will be effective the date it is posted, which is identified at the top of the page. Your continued access or use of our Website following the posting of changes to this CHD Privacy Policy means that you accept such revisions. If you object to any of the changes to this CHD Privacy Policy, please stop accessing our Website.
